One Bedroom, Reworked From the Studs

Not every project is a ground-up build. This Galveston renovation converted an awkward existing layout into a proper one-bedroom home — a clear separation between sleeping and living space, a kitchen that functions, and a bathroom that no longer feels like an afterthought.

The finished space reads warm and lived-in rather than stripped and staged: soft neutrals, layered rugs, and a water view from the sitting area. The galley kitchen was rebuilt with white cabinetry and a quartz counter, and the bath was fully retiled with a marble-look walk-in shower and a frameless glass enclosure.
